26.07.11 Beach volleyball
The beach volleyball players Milan Milanov and Victor Kostadinov made their debut in a competition organized by the BG Volley Federation on 23-24 July in Sofia. They took the bronze medals, competing with other 24 couples. The 16 year-old boys were presented with a medal by the senior coach of the BG national volley-ball team Radostin Stoychev.
The boys are sons of the employees of Sofia Med and Stomana Industry respectively - Borislav Milanov and Dragomir Ivanov. Milan and Victor will continue their participation in a series of summer competitions. Sofia Med is proud to provide its support to the young team.

28.06.11 Open Doors Day
The very early morning of June 26 was not promising at all with its 17°C and angry wind. Sun was hesitant. But, as if ordered, sun smiled at 9:45a.m., wind almost stopped and temperature started to increase. At noon time the cold were behind and all 500 people enjoyed their tours in the production, the music of Rumba Aficionado, the jokes of Bate Encho and the entertaining 24°C. Air-filled castles, face painting, games and balloon figures by Dancho for all 100 kids made the day smiley and full of emotion.

30.05.11 The Green Sunday
An event called The Green Sunday took place on May 29 in the Theater hall of Sofia Med, within the frames of May, being the Month of Health, Safety and Environment. This event included brief lectures and events focused on health, safety and environment, as well as music and fun.
Lecturers from the Ministry of Environment and Waters told us about their initiative “I Love Nature - I am involved, too!”, as well as about how we, via our daily activities and routine, can help preserve nature.
The famous dietitian Ipokratis Papadimitrakos made a lecture on healthy style of life and food. He emphasized on our daily eating habits, their wrong and right sides.
The Green Sunday ended with tree planting in the yard of Sofia Med, as well as with a healthy light lunch. Sofia Med decided to give further emphasis on the sphere of environment by creating a poster with the simple, clear and important message: Let us take care of environment!
